Editor, Photographer, Illustrator, friends

Meet the mother/daughter author-illustrator team who delve into the world of paranormal fiction with a clean, wholesome approach that elevates this new genre with classical simplicity.

Drawing on years of teaching creative writing and English to students in grades 4-12, Joanna and Catherine began this unique journey with a focus on inspiring their students to see their work as more than merely writing essays and reports. What they did not expect, however, was how popular the books would become as each reader fell in love with their favorite of the four main characters.

Their use of thought-provoking questions throughout the books draws the reader deeper into the relatable struggles each face, and the realistic dialogue drives the plot of this newly thrown-together family. With multiple points of view, character arcs, and an underlying focus on morality amid temptation, the reader sees the evolution of each man as they progress through history, from the French Revolution to the War of 1812 and, eventually, the Titanic.

Joanna received her degree in Graphic Design from Bob Jones University during COVID and has spent the last six years teaching online at an underground school in China. She is an avid artist and creator in various mediums who loves integrating her art into her teaching whenever she can.

Catherine is a published photographer and handles the team's writing and editing, with thorough input on world-building and character stability from Joanna. In essence, it has created a special multi-generational aspect to our books that has made them even better as each member of the team adds their own perspective to create this compelling series.
